Stamp Hunt ~ ‘The World In Union’

To enter the Spirit of the Rugby World Cup, we invite members to take part in a Stamp Hunt. An entry form is enclosed with this newsletter - stick one stamp in each of the 16 squares.

You can focus your search in one of two ways

• stamps from any of the nations that are attending this year’s Rugby World Cup
• OR stamps featuring Rugby (they can from any of the countries attending)


Scoring :

• You will get one point for each different nation (up to 16) that you include
the stamp does not need to feature Rugby
you will get an extra point for each stamp that includes the flag or a map of that country
•  You will get two points for each stamp where the design includes any one of the following

• A bonus point for each stamp in your entry, that is different from those sent in by anyone else
• A bonus point for each stamp in your entry, that is from a country selected by no-one else
• Up to 2 bonus points for presentation
• BUT you will lose a point for any stamp from a country that does not have a team attending the 2011 Rugby World Cup in New Zealand
• AND you will lose two points for any stamp featuring a football of the wrong shape !

• First prize ~ choice of 32 page stockbook or a NZPost jigsaw puzzle
• Second prize ~ choice of 16 page stockbook or a NZPost jigsaw puzzle
• Third prize ~ a 2011 ACS stamp catalogue
• All entrants will receive a block of the 2011 KSC Rugby stamps
